Vietnam Veterans Welcomed Home after Visiting "The Wall" on Veterans Day - About 45 Vietnam veterans will return from their trip to the Vietnam War Memorial - The Wall - aboard a Southwest Airlines flight dubbed the "Freedom Bird," to a surprise welcome by family and friends after an emotional and healing trip.

Apache "Longbow" Helicopters will Kick Off VA Veterans Day Parade - Two Apache AH-64D "Longbow" helicopters from the Arizona Army National Guard will kickoff the 2008 VA Veterans Day parade by flying over the parade route, which begins on Seventh Street, just north of Indian School Road.
